		A bright orange light sped toward the fort, watched by two sentries. Soon the light was overhead. As it came down they could see it was disk shaped and larger than a DC-3 airplane. Silent on approach, it had a steady hum as it was overhead. It was clearly outlined and bathed in an orange glow. Scorching heat engulfed the sentries. The fort had a power failure. The two sentries had second and third degree burns all over their bodies.

		James Stokes' car engine stopped and his radio faded out. Nine other cars on the road were having the same trouble as an egg-shaped object came in from the northeast. The first pass was at 1,500 to 3,000 feet and then it made another pass. It appeared to be 500 feet long. Stokes felt heat and pressure when it went over.

When it was about 150 yards from the witness, it appeared to be about 150 feet wide. The car stopped. He got out and walked to within 20 feet of the object. It appeared to be ceramic. A heat wave hit him and he suffered radiation-like burns.

His glands swelled, as did his testicles. He had trouble urinating. His body developed a bad odor. He lost his appetite and food was tasteless.

		Betty and Barney Hill spotted a bright light as they drove. Eventually, the light became a large vehicle. They heard a beeping, saw aliens and were taken into the object. They were given extensive medical examinations. Following the event they had nightmares, huge warts appeared on Barney's body, and their dog died. It was determined that they had suffered a significant period of lost time.
