Consciousness
Center
for Research on Consciousness and Anomalous Psychology (CERCAP)
Lund University, consists of a group of researchers and associates
dedicated to the scientific study of unusual but not pathological
experiences and events, including reputed paprapsychological phenomena.
We endorse programmatic research using a plurality of methodologies,
and are open to diverse perspectives in this area, as long as they
are informed and respectful. Our aim is to continue developing multidisciplinary,
national, and international collaborations, and train undergraduate
and graduate students in a supportive environment.
Currently there is an advanced undergraduate course on Altered States
of Consciousness and Parapsychology, and doctoral study possibilities
for exceptional students wanting to work under the supervision of
Etzel Cardeña on the themes of CERCAP.

Cognitive
Sciences Laboratory
The Cognitive Science Laboratory at Princeton University continues
to maintain and develop the WordNet
lexical database. Other cognitive science activities at Princeton
include
local events taking place during the school year, and the awarding
of the annual George A. Miller Prize for the best interdisciplinary
senior thesis in Cognitive Science.
Esalen
The Esalen Institute was founded in 1962 as an alternative educational
center devoted to the exploration of what Aldous Huxley called the
"human potential," the world of unrealized human capacities that
lies beyond the imagination. Esalen soon became known for its blend
of East/West philosophies, its experiential/didactic workshops,
the steady influx of philosophers, psychologists, artists, and religious
thinkers, and its breathtaking grounds blessed with natural hot
springs. Once home to a Native American tribe known as the Essalen,
Esalen is situated on 27 acres of spectacular Big Sur coastline
with the Santa Lucia Mountains rising sharply behind.
Global
Consciousness Project
The Global Consciousness Project (GCP) is an international effort
involving researchers from several institutions and countries, designed
to explore whether the construct of interconnected consciousness
can be scientifically validated through objective measurement. The
project builds on excellent experiments conducted over the past
35 years at a number of laboratories, demonstrating that human consciousness
interacts with random event generators (REG s), apparently "causing"
them to produce non-random patterns.
Prior to the Global Consciousness Project, an array of REG devices
in Europe and the US showed non-random activity during widely shared
experiences of deeply engaging events. In the fully developed project,
a world-spanning array of labile REG detectors is connected to computers
running software to collect data and send it to a central server
via the Internet. This network is designed to document and display
any subtle, but direct effects of our collective consciousness reacting
to global events.
Institute
for Noetic Sciences
The Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) is a nonprofit research,
education, and membership organization. Our purpose is to support
research and education on consciousness, human potential, and personal
and social transformation. Our primary activities include support
for scientific and scholarly research; development of educational
opportunities; hosting activities at our retreat center; paper-
and online publishing; collaborative inquiry on critical social
issues; and support for personal and professional networking. We
work closely with numerous partner organizations and a global network
of colleagues in the sciences, business, health care, education,
and various other professional fields.
International
Consciousness Research Laboratories
CRL is an international, interdisciplinary, and intergenerational
consortium of scholars who aspire to integrate the subjective and
objective components of human experience into an expanded "science
of the subjective," thus sustaining the spiritual substance of science
and enhancing its cultural benefits. This mission is pursued via
a three-fold enterprise focused on the exploration and representation
of the role of consciousness in physical reality:
ISSSEEM
The International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and
Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM) is an international non-profit interdisciplinary
organization dedicated to exploring and applying subtle energies
as they relate to the experience of consciousness, healing, and
human potential. ISSSEEM is in a unique position, acting both as
a bridge builder between communities and a leader in the field,
offering a community with a widespread appreciation of the energetic
component within many disciplines including quantum physics, therapeutic
modalities, healing, psychology, consciousness, psi and the understanding
of our multidimensional existence.
Monroe
Institute
The Monroe Institute is an educational and research organization
dedicated to the exploration of human consciousness. It is internationally
known for its work with audio sound patterns that can have dramatic
effects on states of consciousness.
Princeton
Engineering Anomalies Research
The Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) program was
established to pursue rigorous scientific study of the interaction
of human consciousness. An interdisciplinary staff of engineers,
physicists, psychologists, and humanists have conducted a comprehensive
agenda of experiments and developing complementary theoretical models
to enable better understanding of the role of consciousness
Scientific
and Medical Network
The Network seeks to provide a forum for pursuing truth, wherever
it leads, to widen the intellectual horizons of science and of society
as a whole; to stimulate research at the frontiers of human knowledge
and experience, and to make the results of such research more widely
known through its educational programs.
The Network is committed to no dogma or creed. It encourages intellectual
discernment and is wary of the ill-founded and sensational claims
of 'pseudo-science'.
In asking searching questions about the nature of life and the
role of the human being, the Network abides by its guidelines of
open-mindedness, rigourous thinking and care for others at all times.

Loch
Ness Investigation Bureau
The Loch Ness Investigation web-site boldly takes its name from
the expeditions which ran from 1962 to 1972, and were organised
by the late David James. The parent organisation was the "Loch Ness
Phenomena Investigation Bureau" or "LNPIB", which later shortened
it's name to "Loch Ness Investigation Bureau" or "LNIB". I was a
volunteer observer & camera operator from 1967, when I filmed
a disturbance in Dores Bay. I became a staff member in 1971. I have
lived in the area ever since, and maintain a close interest and
involvement in research here. I believe that my project continues
in the true spirit of the original LNI.
Loch
Ness Information Website
While research has been conducted at many of these lakes, Loch Ness
is the icon for monsters and Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster is, without
doubt the granddaddy of them all. It is to Loch Ness where
myriad researchers, professional and amateur, from all walks of
life, have flocked with their cameras and sonars, hopes, fears and
aspirations to solve the greatest mystery on Earth. Nessie, the
Loch Ness Monster.

of HIV Theory
The whole world "knows" that HIV causes AIDS, right? That's
not consistent witht the facts...
HIVskeptic.wordpress.com
Official reports and peer-reviewed publications afford many reasons
for skepticism about the prevailing dogma that HIV causes AIDS:
Why have many HIV-positive people remained healthy, without treatment,
for upwards of 2 decades? Why have more than 20 years of effort
seen no progress toward a vaccine against HIV? Why, so often, do
drug treatments that seem to destroy virus (decrease “viral load”)
and to strengthen the immune system (increase CD4-cell counts) fail
to improve the patients' health? Why do mothers transmit HIV to
their babies through breastfeeding less efficiently when breastfeeding
is exclusive than when it is supplemented by formula ? How can Africa's
population have been increasing so much for twenty years–about 3%
per year–when it is supposedly in the grip of a deadly epidemic
of AIDS during which few people have been receiving treatment?

quality material here for you.
Koestler
Parapsychology Unit
The unit is part of the Psychology Department (School of Philosophy,
Psychology and Language Sciences) at the University of Edinburgh.
It consists of a group of academic staff and postgraduate students
with an active interest in parapsychology. Parapsychology is defined
as ‘the scientific study of the capacity attributed to some individuals
to interact with their environment by means other than the recognised
sensorimotor channels'. The neutral term ‘psi' is used to denote
this hypothesised capacity. At the KPU, we have always taken an
interdisciplinary approach to parapsychology, investigating the
psi hypothesis, the pseudo-psi hypothesis, reported phenomena, experiences
and beliefs about the paranormal, and the wider social and historical
relevance of these.
Parapsychological
Association
International professional organization of scientists and scholars
are engaged in the study of psi or psychic experiences, such as
telepathy, clairvoyance, remote viewing, psychokinesis, psychic
healing, and precognition.
Rhine Research Center
(Institute for Parapsychology)
The Rhine Research Center is devoted to answering the fundamental
questions we all ask about life: What happens after death? Can we
all perceive beyond the five senses? Can psychics diagnose illness?
How does healing happen? Do very successful business people use
psychic abilities? What can we do to enhance our own intuition?
Parapsychology
Foundation
The Parapsychology Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation which
provides a worldwide forum supporting the scientific investigation
of psychic phenomena. The Foundation gives grants, publishes pamphlets,
monographs, conference proceedings and the International Journal
of Parapsychology hosts the Perspectives Lecture Series, conducts
the Outreach Program, maintains the Eileen J. Garrett Library with
its collection of more than 12,000 volumes and 100 periodicals on
parapsychology and related topics, and has resurrected its quality

Society
for Psychical Research
First of its kind to examine allegedly paranormal phenomena in a
scientific and unbiased way. Today the Society continues with its
aim of understanding events and abilities commonly described as
'psychic' or 'paranormal' by promoting and supporting important
research in this area. Through the publication of scholarly reports
and organization of educational activities, it acts as a forum for
debate and promotes the dissemination of information about current
developments in the field.

might be precognitive. You can also tell us about corroborated strong
cases of precognition that you had in the past. This site is maintained
by Yaron Mayer, a psychologist with an extensive background in the
area of scientific ESP research and a former prominent member of
the Israeli Parapsychology Association. We will report interesting
findings to the relevant newsgroups, especially if there is an influx
of dreams that seem to refer to the same pending event.
Institut
Metapsychique International

Anomalous experiences imply that the the person having the experience
cannot easily be explained using our conventional laws of science.
This does not imply that the experience truly is paranormal or psychic.
Most of the time, there are physical, psychological, or statistical
explanations. ESP or extrasensory perception is the most well known
term for one kind of anomalous experience. It refers to communication
of information without using one's conventional physical senses.
Many feel anomalous experience in another sense implies contradictions
of the laws of physics. Dr. Neppe has regarded the term ESP as prejudicial
as if indeed such events occur, there should be mechanisms involved
that link with natural laws.
Remote Viewing
Farsight.org
Remote viewing is a tool that we use to explore questions relating
to consciousness and existence. Contributing to the science of consciousness
through investigations into the remote-viewing phenomenon is the
primary goal for our path of service.
The Farsight Institute is dedicated to the practical
and benevolent investigation and use of remote viewing to solve
scientific problems that are otherwise intractable, and to ask questions
that are new and challenging. Doing this is integral to our educational
goal of transforming how people think of themselves and their world,
and it is consistent with our own personal pursuit of growth in
consciousness. Using the controls of modern science, we seek to
help humanity discern that which is real in the context of a universe
filled with mystery. We hope that this path of service will contribute
to a positive and significant human destiny.
IRVA

Remote viewing is a novel perceptual discipline for gaining information
not available to the ordinary physical senses. Used extensively
by so-called "psychic spies" during the Cold War for classified
military projects, it has a long history both as an intelligence
gathering tool and as the subject of research and applications in
the civilian world. Remote viewing has now taken a long step into
the public domain with the formation of a professional association
to propose standards, test performance, and promote peaceful use
and development of this unique human mental capacity. This email

Anomalistic
Psychology Research Unit
The perceived general cultural acceptance of the paranormal reinforces
their own personal experiences of ostensibly paranormal events.
The challenge to those who adopt the working hypothesis that paranormal
forces do not exist is to provide plausible non-paranormal accounts,
supported by strong empirical evidence wherever possible, of the
ways in which psychological and physical factors might combine to
give the impression that a paranormal event had occurred when, in
fact, it had not.
Explanations require the consideration of such factors as cognitive
biases, anomalous psychological states, personality factors, developmental
issues, the nature of memory, the psychology of deception and self-deception,
and a range of other psychological variables.

The SIS was formed to consider the role global cosmic catastrophes
may have played in history, and even recorded by cultures worldwide
in their oral and written ancient traditions. Also considered are
the effect catastrophes have on other disciplines , such as biology,
cosmology, geology, psychology, archaeoastronomy, astrophysics,
linguistics, and other areas such as religion. Catastrophism also
demands that there should be corroboration between disciplines,
making catastrophism truly interdisciplinary and inclusive.
SRU
The SRU is a foundation devoted to the theoretical and experimental
study of alleged paranormal phenomena. The central activity is parapsychological
research, carried out by a core team of researchers, all of whom

parapsychological journals. On request, SRU researchers also give
lectures on parapsychological topics.
Skepticism

Skeptical
Investigations
The Skeptical Investigations Website purpose is to promote genuine
skepticism, the spirit of enquiry and doubt, within science. This
includes an open-minded investigation of unexplained phenomena,
a questioning of dogmatic assumptions, and a skeptical examination
of the claims of self-proclaimed skeptics.
Weird
Research, Anomalous Physics
Weird science page includes enlightening quotes from historical
figures, links to weird science and skeptical Web pages.
Some 'skeptical' sources are filled with shameless emotional bias
and intolerance of dissenting opinion. They adopt a stance of hostile
apriori disbelief, they fill their arguments with logical fallacies,
and they cultivate an attitude of sneering disgust for their so-called
'gullible' opponents. At the same time they hop on the coattails
of science by presenting themselves as the voice of "reason." And
despite their constant use of fallacies and rhetoric, they are convinced
that they're supporting rationality. In a word, they display behavior
which is the very definition of "pseudoscience."
However, we need to remain aware that many skeptics are not like
this. Many skeptics practice reason and critical thinking, rather
than simply giving them lip service and then ignoring them.
Survival

American
Association of Electronic Voice Phenomenon
Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) concerns unexpected voices found
in recording media. It is a form of after death communication.
ITC is a newer term that includes all of the ways these unexpected
voices and images are collected through technology, including EVP.
Of the many hypotheses designed to explain these phenomena, the
Survival Hypothesis has been found to be most effective in answering
the evidence.
The Survival Hypothesis holds that we are nonphysical entities who
are able to exist in the physical aspect of reality because of our
physical body, but that when our physical body dies, we as Self,
change our point of view to nonphysical reality. In effect,
we exist before and after our current lifetime. The working
hypothesis supported by AA-EVP is that these messages are, indeed,
nonphysical in origin and that the Survival Hypothesis is essentially
correct. I t is the goal of AA-EVP and its membership to find
ways to improve the reception of these messages and to better understand
their origin.

care providers, clergy and seekers of greater meaning.
Mesa
Project
Tim Harte's Multifrequency Energy Sensor Array measures haunt phenomena.
Haunt phenomena have been described as anomalous visual, auditory,
or tactile experiences; sensed presences, sudden onset of emotional
experiences (fear, sadness, depression, and anger), erratic functioning
of electrical or mechanical equipment, and object movement in certain
environments.
MESA is a portable data acquisition and analysis system that simultaneously
measures a variety of energies commonly associated with haunt phenomena,
and has been used at over 150 survey sites. At present, the
system collects data on incident infrared, visible, and ultraviolet
light intensities; natural and artifically generated electromagnetic
fields, gamma ray radiation, galvanic skin response of a human subject,
infrasound, and vibration. MESA researchers also deploy digital
still and video cameras, a unique two-camera system connected to
a magnetometer, as well as audio recording - all to document haunt
phenomena. We continue to seek out locations purported to
have haunt and poltergeist activity.
