There is a lot of confusion when it comes to citations. For example, ieee citation style incorporates into content references, numbered in square sections, which refer to the full reference recorded in the reference list toward the finish of the paper. The reference list is sorted out numerically, not one after another in order.

In-content Citing It is not important to specify a creator's name, pages utilized, or date of production in the in-content reference. Rather, refer to the source with a number in a square section, e.g. [1], that will then compare to the full reference in your reference list. My question is if following the same citation pattern is necessary or not?
