Student Members ("Aspiring Explorers") of the Society for Scientific Exploration gather on Zoom every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 2pm EDT for learning and networking.

The August 11th Aspiring Explorers meeting will be hosted by Dani Caputi. She will be talking about her work at Peace Inc. which she is a co-founder of with her colleague, Leo Madrid. The presentation will mainly focus on a feedback mechanism that integrates random event generators (REG) with light and sound installations that, when designed with particular algorithms, seem to increase mind-matter interaction effect sizes. Two sets of preliminary data will be discussed: 1) In a recent deployment to the Apparitions Music Festival in Rosarito, CA, data was collected from an REG-driven LED panel that was visible from both the main stages and dance floors. 2) REG-driven music has been designed that follows these principles, and testing has begun with Youtube live streams. Finally, she will discuss how this work is seeding development of the consciousness and transformative tech industry at a time where rapid evolution of human minds beyond ego and corruption is necessary.
