At this event we will explore Complementary & Alternative Medicine (CAM) with two professional guests from the Lifeforces organization and clinic in Tokyo. Together our visitors have decades of experience learning, training and practicing many CAM arts. CAM includes acupuncture, chiropractic, energy healing, herbal and holistic medicine, hypnotherapy and many other disciplines. In addition to discussing the concepts and benefits, we will also explore possibilities to measure or scientifically study these phenomena.

Mr. Hari Tahil will join the event. He has a wide background in complementary therapies, including hypno~psychotherapy, advanced cranio-sacral therapy, and bodywork & energy healing. Hari teaches many channeled energy classes, including the original Reiki system as preserved in Japan, and classes from the Spiritual Unfoldment Network (SUN). He practices Family and Systemic Constellations, having studied directly under the founder, Bert Hellinger. In addition to conducting therapy and classes in Tokyo, he also writes for the National Cancer Center in Tokyo.

Ms. Petya Lowe is a holistic therapist and energy teacher with a wide background in the healing arts. She is a Spiritual Unfoldment Network (SUN) teacher and a Sekhem and Seichim master/teacher, a Reiki master/teacher, hypnotherapist, qualified advanced craniosacral therapist (trained at the Upledger School of CranioSacral Therapy), and a practitioner of many other complementary healing modalities. Through the Lifeforces clinic, Petya and Hari hold workshops that incorporate their knowledge and experience across all these disciplines.

Before coming to the meeting, please watch a YouTube video, read a book, explore the web, gather your thoughts, but come prepared to ask questions or contribute something interesting you know, learned or experienced related to Complementary & Alternative Medicine. Let’s make this a lively discussion.

The Society for Scientific Exploration is multidisciplinary professional organization of scientists and scholars committed to studying phenomenon that cross traditional boundaries of science and are ignored or studied inadequately with mainstream science. SSE-Japan was founded in 2019 to add support for this perspective in Japan.
